Age-Structured SIR Model for the Spread of Infectious Diseases Through Indirect Contacts

چکیده
In this article, we discuss an age-structured SIR model in which disease spread not only through direct person-to-person contacts, but also indirect contacts. It is evident that age plays a crucial role SARS virus infection including COVID-19 infection. We formulate our as abstract semilinear Cauchy problem appropriate Banach space to show the existence of solution and steady states. study, it assumed population demographic stationary state there no disease-free equilibrium point long transmission due contacts environment. solved numerically study effect on density infected individuals.

The Volterra delay integral equations have numerous applications in various branches of science, including biology, ecology, physics and modeling of engineering and natural sciences. In many cases, it is difficult to obtain analytical solutions of these equations. So, numerical methods as an efficient approximation method for solving Volterra delay integral equations are of interest to many res...

Networks of person-person contacts form the substrate along which infectious diseases spread. Most network-based studies of the spread focus on the impact of variations in degree (the number of contacts an individual has). However, other effects such as clustering, variations in infectiousness or susceptibility, or variations in closeness of contacts may play a significant role. We develop anal...

Contact networks form the substrate along which infectious diseases spread. Most network-based studies of the spread have only considered the impact of variations in node degrees. However, a number of other effects such as clustering, variations in infectiousness or susceptibility, or variations in closeness of contacts are expected to play a significant role. We find analytic techniques to pre...

In this paper modeling, analysis and prediction of novel epidemic of COVID-19 are concerned to identify effective spread parameters of it in Iran. For this purpose, the basic susceptible-infected-removed (SIR) model is used which has two parameters: the infection rate and remove rate. The occurrence of several maximum points in the Iranian data and the single peak of the SIR model makes it impo...
